Tracy's booth at the Scottsdale Art Fair in 2006. |
Tracy’s career as an artist has evolved from a beading hobby
in the early 1980's to her now
expanded metalworking skills and innovative design. Today she creates
fun, wearable pieces that look great with a slinky black dress
or jeans and a t-shirt.
Her jewelry designs include a montage of sterling silver, gold,
semi-precious stones, beads and found objects. Architectural
and geometric forms –- both natural and man-made -- inspire
Tracy. She takes note of details discovered in her own mountain
backyard and on travels to Asia, Europe and Latin America, incorporating
them in her creative expression.
Tracy's work is characterized by finely crafted chain mail techniques
and her signature "word stamping" that she can customize
for individual clients.
